Our Core Values
PublishPipe has developed 7 core values that guide our daily decisions and our brand. Our webmasters and staff use these values as a guiding light as they work. We also encourage our potential partners and members to review these values as well, because the best collaboration will occur when we work with those who understand us and share our values.
Tell the Truth.
Above all else, we value the truth. Obviously, there is no basis for a successful project and working relationship without this. We will always pursue openness and honest communication, we will keep our word, and we will never take advantage of our members or coworkers. It’s just the right thing to do. It’s what our members expect. And it actually helps things run more smoothly and efficiently…go figure!
Stay Positive. Have Fun.
We are doing this because we love it. Though many times we are separated from our coworkers and members by many miles, virtually we are in the same room! We strive to lessen the distance by creating a fun environment. A sense of humor and a positive attitude are key. We want our members to not only love our service, but like us as well! We think being professional and casually likable are not mutually exclusive.
Build a Family.
Our members are our friends. We treat them like family. Period. (actually that was two periods.)
Considerate Actions.
We take responsibility for our actions, and are mindful of the impact they may have on each other, our members, and our community.
Always Learning. Always Innovating.
An important part of our service is constant flow of new information from our Bright Idea Blog. We see no value in hoarding our knowledge, and we share it freely with our members and each other. We are not afraid to try new things, or new approaches to old things. It goes without staying, that in the web development world, we would be outdated in 6 months without our passion for learning.
Improve. Improve. Improve.
We constantly seek to improve our technical stills, design skills, and communication skills. We seek to keep both sides of our brain working together, and this will hopefully be reflected in the sweet marriage of form and function of the websites we deliver.
Collaborate. Cooperate.
We cooperate with our members and look forward to collaborating with them as well. Often our members encourage us to think like a business developer, not just a web developer. This freedom to incorporate our vision when implementing their web solution, and being a part of their team, can truly make for a great website.
